Christmas Stocking Lump Coal (red, green, white)
Coal was the lifeblood of the Norfolk and Western, so it's no surprise that cars like the Class H2a 3-Bay Hopper made up the majority of the freight car fleet. This Broadway Limited N Scale model is an accurate replica of the prototype used by the railroad and its affiliates, plus it's also very similar to hoppers used by other railroads. Leased cars operated on and were decorated for the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Baltimore and Ohio. The cars feature detailed, injection-molded bodies with plenty of applied details, a realistic coal load, metal wheelsets for operated on code 55 and larger rail and magnetic knuckle couplers. Minimum radius for operation is 9".
