Recently, the Chinese government has implemented a 54% tariff on certain imports, including items that are essential to our industry. As many of you know, a significant portion of model train products, accessories, and hobby-related supplies are manufactured in China. This sudden increase in tariffs affects our supply chain costs and the overall pricing of many products.

At Orange Empire Model Trains and Hobbies LLC, we are committed to providing you with the best quality products at the most competitive prices possible. While we are working closely with our suppliers and exploring alternative sources to minimize the impact, it is likely that some prices may be affected in the near future.

Our team is dedicated to keeping you informed and will do everything we can to maintain the selection and affordability you have come to expect from us. We are playing this weekend of April by ear as Larry has surgery Thursday 4/3/25 and Justin has been laid up sick.  Leaving everything a little hectic at the moment.
